Students gathered in Godalming tonight for our regular training session with two different streams on offer. Fran continued her rapier and dagger refresh / intro lessons, while Mark continued his lessons on sword and buckler.
Tonight saw our regular weekly training session in Reading. Simon continued his stream on on “Chaos, Disorder and Street Fighting – Asymmetric and unusual fighting techniques” while Chris M looked at Marozzo Sword & Buckler
Sunday saw our Oxford students gather for a bit out outdoor freeplay. These sessions are always helpful. There’s only so much time during a lesson to learn a new technique and often the best way to practise it is to incorporate it into sparring.
It was our weekly training in Oxford tonight. Students gathered to continue the work they’ve been doing under the tutelage of Luis on the dagger.
Tonight saw our regular training session in Swindon with students continuing their work looking at Dalla’gocchie. Tonight we looked at defences against attacks with an emphasis on footwork. Student’s managed to grasp the concept and unlocked new understanding of the importance of voiding. There was even time at the end for a little sparring.

It was our Godalming Chapter’s weekly training night tonight and ahead of the new blocks starting next week, students enjoyed a freeplay session whereby they could put into practise everything they have learnt thus far, by sparring with each other. A fun night was had by all.
