Oxford Accepting New Students
Our chapters only take in students a couple of times a year, with some having long backlogs. Our Oxford chapter is now taking registrations for beginners. Starting at the end of July, you’ll begin with Italian longsword.
Our instructors are invited to teach worldwide, so don’t miss this opportunity to learn from some of the best. Places are very limited, so act now as it may be a while before places open in Oxford again.

School of the Sword Cutting Party – 28th May 2022
After not having seen a lot of each other over the pandemic, School of the Sword held a cutting party in Godalming this weekend with attendees from all our various chapters. Armed with milk and soft drinks bottles, we got to see how rusty our cutting had got using sharp swords against them.
There were lots of photogenic splashes, a few flying bottles and a whole lot of fun.

Tonight it was “Hugs by Fiore” or the Third Remedy Master training as our students in our Oxford chapter got to play with daggers.

This week at our Oxford chapter we studied further teaching of Fiore on the dagger and First Remedy Master. But also we said goodbye to one of our amazing students – Matt. He was with us from the beginning and since then became a great fencer and sparring partner. We will miss you, Matt!
