Tonight was our regular training session for our Swindon chapter and the start of their journey learning the rapier. This week we covered the basics, looking at the guards and blade mechanics. Great work from all students.
Tonight saw our Swindon Chapter meet up for their regular weekly training session. After a summer of 2 sword (and Wushu warmups), our training block comes to an end with some of Godhinos craziest plays. We were jumping, swirling a twisting, trying to recreate some of these insane moves from guarding an individual to fighting at a crossroads, to retreating. A lot of laughs but also some great analysis.
Tonight saw our regular weekly training session in Swindon, where students continued their work looking at two swords. This week we were looking at Godhino and in particular, his advice for fighting multiple opponents.
We had a makeshift corridor at this week’s Swindon Chapter training session tonight. We looked at Godhino’s 2 swords and practised fighting in a narrow corridor!
Tonight was our Swindon chapter’s regular training night and this week we were looking at Palladini’s 2 swords and comparing it to the techniques of Docciolini and Altoni. Great work as always!
