Due to the level of instruction we give new students, we only run beginners course and intake students at a few times a year at most. These tend to be over-subscribed and sell out quickly. The good news is that our Godalming chapter will be running a new intake in Septemeber, beginning on the 11th. If you’ve ever wished you could learn to swordfight, or have an interest in historical martial arts, now’s the perfect time.

Sunday saw our Oxford students gather for a bit out outdoor freeplay. These sessions are always helpful. There’s only so much time during a lesson to learn a new technique and often the best way to practise it is to incorporate it into sparring.
