It was our regular weekly training session in Swindon tonight where our students continued their introduction to rapier. This week we continued our work on the thrust Great progress by all students.

It was our regular weekly training night for our Reading Chapter tonight, with students able to choose between two streams of learning. Josh continued his block looking at rapier and dagger whilst Dan continued his with his students looking at two swords.

Tonight was our regular training session for our Swindon chapter and the start of their journey learning the rapier. This week we covered the basics, looking at the guards and blade mechanics. Great work from all students.

Tonight saw our Reading chapter’s regular training night, and students were treated to a sparring session. These sessions give students the opportunity to get some sparring practise in against a range of students with a range of weapons, incorporating the various techniques learnt at training.
With tournament season in full swing, our Reading students concluded their mini tournament prep and judging block. This included ways of changing your fight, judging and then closing with a friendly tournament.

It was our Godalming Chapter’s regular training night tonight and ahead of the new intake next week, students got to enjoy an evening of freeplay. These sessions give students the opportunity to get some sparring practise in against a range of students with a range of weapons, incorporating the various techniques learnt at training.
